Welcome to the Walk-a-Thon Committee of our PTO!

We are thrilled to bring you an exciting event that promotes fitness, community involvement, and fundraising.

As part of the Walk-a-Thon Committee, we are responsible for planning and organizing this highly anticipated event. We work diligently to create a memorable experience for participants of all ages, encouraging them to embrace a healthy lifestyle while supporting our school.

On the day of the Walk-a-Thon, we create a lively atmosphere with music, refreshments, and interactive activities. Participants will be guided along a designated course on school grounds, and are encouraged to walk, jog, or run the course while enjoying the camaraderie and enthusiasm of fellow students, parents, and staff.

Participants raised funds by soliciting donations from friends and family.  The donations are not tied to the number of lap walked, but rather just for participating in the event.  The funds raised from the Walk-a-Thon directly benefit our school by supporting essential programs, equipment, and educational initiatives. We are proud to contribute to the success and well-being of our students through this fun and impactful event.

Volunteers play a crucial role in the success of the Walk-a-Thon. Whether it's assisting with registration, providing water stations, or cheering on participants, your support is invaluable.

Get Your Walking Shoes On!  This is your chance to have fun with your friends, get fit, and help make this a great year for NPS! With everyone’s help, we can make the Walk-a-Thon a fun day for the whole school and help raise funds for programs and events throughout the year! 

Pledge Star

We use an awesome web based fundraising system that make it much easier for you to request pledges from your family and friends, and for them to make secure credit card donations online. It's fun, It's easy, and people who use it typically raise twice as much as those who don't!

Remember, our Walk-A-Thon is October 6, 2023, so please register now to help our school raise as much as we can for our art, science, and technology programs and events and more.
