Educational Enrichment/ Author Day

Educational enrichment involves enhancing traditional academic learning experiences by incorporating additional educational opportunities, such as extracurricular activities, special projects, and workshops. These supplementary activities aim to provide students with a well-rounded education, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity beyond the standard curriculum.

The goal of educational enrichment is to broaden students' perspectives, explore their interests, and discover their talents and passions. These programs are designed to cater to different interests and abilities, encouraging hands-on learning, collaboration, and independent thinking.

One such event is Visiting Author Day, which usually takes place in the late winter or spring. During this special occasion, an author visits the school to give a presentation to the children. The school librarian collaborates with the Committee to organize and coordinate this exciting event, providing students with a unique opportunity to interact with and be inspired by a professional writer.
