The Korean Parent Support Committee (KPSC)
The Korean Parent Support Committee (KPSC) serves as a vital link between the PTO and the Korean community. We are dedicated to welcoming and assisting newly settled Korean parents as they navigate the Norwood school system. Our goal is to encourage their active participation in school events and causes, ensuring they feel connected and engaged.
The KPSC plays a crucial role in reducing language barriers that may hinder effective communication between administrators, teachers, and parents. By providing language support and fostering clear channels of communication, we strive to create a harmonious and inclusive environment for all.
As an extension of the PTO, the KPSC serves as the main interface with the Korean community, offering guidance, support, and resources to help Korean parents acclimate to the school system.
