School Procedures

Arrival (8:00 AM)

Drop Off

Kiss and Go: Travel south on Summit Street and turn right into the circle in front of the school. Pull up past the front door to allow your child to exit the car on the passenger side only. DO NOT get out of your car.

Library Parking Lot: The lot can be accessed from South Street or Summit Street. Pull up to the walkway and let your child out of the car on the drivers side to cross at the crossing guard and walk up the hill. Please DO NOT pull up to the front of the library to let your child out and allow them to walk across the parking lot between cars.

Park: If you would prefer to walk your child to the front door parking is allowed on Summit Street and South Street.

Assembly Area

Kindergarten: Front Door (will be escorted to Kindergarten hallway)

1st - 2nd: All Purpose Room (APR)
3rd - 5th: Gymnasium
6th - 8th: Lunchroom

Please note: Students may enter the building at 8:00 AM and should not be dropped off prior. At 8:15 AM students will go to their classrooms or lockers. Students in Grades K – 5 will be picked up from the designated area by their classroom teachers. Students in Grades 6 – 8 will be supervised as they proceed to their lockers then their advisement period.

Dismissal

2:55 PM Kindergarten - 2nd Grade

Kindergarten: Exterior classroom door (Exit 2)

1st Grade: Side door by gym (Exit 3)

2nd Grade: Back door (Exit 7)

3:00 PM 3rd - 8th Grade

3rd Grade & 4th Grade: Front door (Exit 1)

5th Grade: Back door (Exit 7)
6th Grade: Lunchroom (Exit 10)

7th Grade & 8th Grade: 7th & 8th Grade Hallway Door (Exit 8)
