NJCAP (Child Assault Prevention) Parent Workshop with Mrs. Kim

Prior to the February 2020 PTO Meeting on Wednesday, February 12th, Mrs. Kim (NPS Guidance Counselor) will be giving a workshop about NJCAP (NJ Child Assault Prevention). She is hoping to have many parents come to participate in this workshop for parents of both elementary-aged and middle school-aged children. As a background, NPS will be participating in the Child Assault Prevention Project, which will teach the students to recognize and deal with potentially dangerous situations, and train the teachers and parents to prevent the victimization of children. The 3 components of the CAP Project will be the parent workshop, teacher/staff in service, and individual classroom workshops for K-8th grade. A letter will be sent home to parents soon with details.
