Arbor Day
As part of the Third Grade Tree Team, the New Jersey Forestry Service provides tree seedlings for the third grade students to plant. The students learn the value and importance of trees, the benefits of trees, fun facts about trees and are each sent home with a tree seedling. At the school, the students plant geraniums in the flower beds for the celebration of Arbor Day.
